a teacher is a quarter of the way through his masters which leads to a pun about having achieved the rank of Quarter Master

My four sons are all in Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts of America). Two are currently in Cub Scouts (Pack), and two are in Boy Scouts (Troop). The two in the Troop are leaders (which is actually a requirement of advancement, so everyone gets opportunities to lead). One of them is the Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and the other is the Assistant Quarter Master (and, from what I hear, he pulls more than his weight in that regard *coughs*).

Earning my own Master's Degree (in "Teaching Physics," incidentally) was really a much more important and critical time in my career than these comics give it credit for. I'm not sure how obvious it is to everyone, but I'm purposefully taking Pepp through a time-dependent progression. This means I'm going to miss some things that really matter, because there is plenty of story to tell. Is this an issue? No, not really, because Pepp is highly reflective and can always have "flash backs" (even for short stints). I've considered having seasons or mini-series in the future dedicated to his early life, college life, etc.

That said, this webcomic is not just about Mr. Anthony "Pepp" Culpepper! Not at all. There are plenty of stories to tell that just fall along his timeline. And then there are the fun little adventures he goes on (or...does he??) like the Choose Your Own Adventure he experienced in his first Summer Break, or the time he got Sucked In to a computer! I've got so many more of those adventures planned... Heck, he may even get a dog someday *shudders*. ;0)

Oh yes, I nearly forgot to add: I'm making this the last installment of Collection 7. Collection 8 will be "A Totally TeachedUp Holiday Special" (the first of many, I predict). Stay tuned!
