Sometimes I just get a stroke of genius. I'm sure you'll agree, this is one of those times. *wink*

It's July 4th (Independence Day here in the States!), and we've already been through a bit of a heat wave. I have pools on my brain, considering the fact that a) they are so darned expensive to put in nowadays and b) our homeowner's association (HOA) doesn't permit above ground pools (which, if you're not aware, are cheap as dirt compared to in-ground pools). I've contemplated writing a comprehensive article on the safety advantages of above-ground vs. in-ground pools (electrical and drowning hazards comparisons, for instance) along with energy efficiency and practicality considerations... but I'm too hot and sweaty and my pen keeps slipping out of my hand when I go to set writing utensil to paper. <-- this last run-on sentence is search-engine optimization gold, by the bye.
