Ever since I first became one of the "Davids" (there were three of us) in my high school's Back of the Bus Crowd, I was aware of the phrase "Super Senior." A Super Senior is a high school student who is a Senior, but they're in their second go-'round. A Super Senior's greatest wish is to avoid becoming a "Super Super Senior." You might be able to imagine what this implies, but just in case the dots aren't connecting... it's when you're now in your 6th year as a high schooler (and are about to age-out if you don't pass Senior Year this time).
You did know that students age-out... right? It's tragic enough of a circumstance that I've not deigned to create a comic about it, but I imagine it's coming. Were you a Super Senior in high school? Tell us what that was like in the TeachedUp Comics Fan Club! |
