Here's what I originally shared on LinkedIn:
To all of my #teachers and other employees in #k12schools:
March is coming.
However... to my pre-service and first-year teachers.. I'ma warn you: unless your district has built in some creative PD days... March is the _longest_ month ever in education.
It is pretty much devoid of holidays, the kids start to get #springfever as the weather warms (worse this year for many of us, since it's going to feel like summer even _sooner_), and everything but school seems to be on the #students' brains.
March was the only month I ever took a #mentalhealthday. That should tell you something.
Anyone else agree with me? What's the "longest month" in your line of work?
