The truth is, #teachers are often so overwhelmed with grading backlogs that every long weekend ... every "break" ... is spent catching up.
If they aren't grading, they're planning. If they aren't planning, they're rebuilding their sanity to avoid #teacherburnout (it's sad that this is a recognized hashtag).
Today's #TeachedUpComics required zero inspiration on my part. It was a reality of my life in #K12education.
There's a bright side, though: there _are_ ways to "work smarter not harder" as a teacher. #EdTech has grown tremendously over the years. It can be leveraged to support differentiated instruction _and_ help teachers' #mentalwellbeing.
